Office Problems Solved continues to be driven by a genuine passion for solving office furniture issues which has been passed down from father to son.

My father, Roger Burge had his own furniture manufacturing business for many years, and I learnt the ins and outs of the factory floor from the tender age of seven. Many school holidays were spent learning factory processes while utilizing the facility to my benefit, I had the best sledge in our village! After attending design College I had the privilege to work alongside him for 4 years starting as a factory hand honing skills and working through the ranks to become Factory Manager.

At the age of 21 I wanted my own challenge and started my own business that repaired, altered and generally sorted office furniture related issues. It was during this time that I met my wife Susan who was a furniture buyer for Monitor Office Systems.

Office Problems Solved as we are now known was formed to fulfill the bespoke needs of our clients that I had worked closely with over the previous years.   This meant we could guarantee high standards, prompt service and were less reliant on outside sourced products. We now provide all services in-house from design through manufacture to delivery and installation.

My wife Susan and I have two children, Annie and Charlie.  Susan, our Company Secretary,  is also an integral part of the business along with the rest of our team in the office and factory.  I shouldn’t forget our two dogs Poppy and Perry who are also a regular fixture in the office, so if you call and hear a dog bark in the background, please don’t be surprised!
